The doctor-patient relationship is more than the doctor’s professionalism and the patient’s needs. It is also based on mutual trust, empathy, understanding, and compassion. After many years of work, I am aware of the high honour and responsibility for being chosen to treat children. Their parents become my like-minded friends and associates in the fight against diseases. I trust them too. I am grateful to each of my existing and potential clients who chose or will choose me as a doctor for their children. I have already started treating children of my patients who used to visit me when they were kids. The more children the better! I am getting more and more convinced that the best thing people can do is bringing new people to this world.

About the doctor
Halyna Iliina provides preventive, counselling, and treatment services to children aged between 0 and 18 years. She offers paediatric care to international community families. She is an author of a number of media publications, including articles Vash Maliuk (Your Baby) Magazine about taking care of new-born babies during their first year, children’s intestinal dysbiosis, and interviews for periodicals and Idealist Media as well as participation in medical TV programmes.
Halyna Leonidivna got a degree in paediatrics at Kyiv Medical Institute, had thematic advanced training in emergency paediatric care at the Paediatrics Department, a professional development training course in paediatric resuscitation and intensive care, and a thematic advanced training programme entitled ‘Some Issues in Transfusion Medicine’ at P. L. Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.
