About the doctor
Oleh Zahoruiko is an expert in using all essential modern techniques of ultrasound examination of the thyroid gland, abdomen, peritoneal cavity, breast, blood vessels, lymph nodes, lungs, musculoskeletal system, superficial structures, and diagnostic ultrasound of gynecological conditions. Oleh Dmytrovych uses interventional ultrasound techniques, such as fine-needle aspiration biopsy, trephine biopsy, percutaneous drainage of pathological soft tissue, drug administration, and cavity sanitation.
He graduated from M. I. Pyrohov Vinnytsia Medical Institute in 1992 majoring in medical care. Oleh Zahoruiko had his radiology internship from 3 August 1992 to 28 January 1994. He is a member of the International Association of Endovascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology and the Ukrainian Radiology Association. Dr. Zahoruiko contributed to the preparation of 22 scientific papers. He holds a declarational utility patent entitled ‘Treatment of Acute Iliofemoral Phlebothrombosis’.
