Prevention
services

Gynecology is a preventive area. You need to visit your gynecologist regularly to make sure a health problem is diagnosed in the early phase or stage.

A modern woman is versatile and plays multiple roles: a mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend, romantic partner, businesswoman, housekeeper, and, most importantly, no matter what, she handily combines all of these roles every day.

Therefore, dear ladies, please remember that it’s important to find some time for yourself, your health, and your well-being.

Unfortunately, not all problems or diseases have symptoms which are obvious enough for you to understand there is something wrong.

A routine preventive examination by a gynecologist is a great opportunity to diagnose and cure any problems at an early stage. A gynecologist primarily aims to take preventive measures: a pelvic examination and cytological smears facilitate an early diagnosis of precancerous changes and taking preventive steps.

A gynecologist will recommend a comfortable birth control method and select menopausal hormone replacement therapy.

We recommend that you have preventive gynecological examinations at least twice a year.

Our approach to gynecological prevention

Our approach to gynecological prevention

At Grace Clinic, a standard preventive examination includes a pelvic ultrasound, examination in a gynecological chair, colposcopy, and vaginal smears, while a breast ultrasound is optional.

It can be hard to plan everything beforehand, so your personal manager at our сlinic will remind you about the recommended date for visiting your gynecologist.

Q&A

How often do I need to visit my gynecologist if I have no complaints?

It’s recommended to have a preventive examination once every six months.

What is the length of the normal menstrual cycle? How can I calculate it?

The length of the normal cycle is 28 days. However, it can last 21–35 days in adults and 21–45 days in 12–15-year old teenage girls. A regular menstrual cycle means that all key organs in your body function normally. That is why it’s extremely important to track your period. So how to calculate your menstrual cycle? The first day of your menstrual bleeding is considered to be the first day of your cycle. The first day of your next menstrual bleeding is the last day of your cycle. On average, your period can last from 3 to 5 days, while any number of days from 2 to 7 is normal as well.

What causes irregular periods?

Note that the female reproductive system is sensitive to a number of factors. Your period can become irregular for various reasons, such as quick weight loss, intensive workout sessions, stress, endocrine disorders, even if there are no other gynecological symptoms. If your period irregularities happen more often, consult your doctor immediately.
