He completed his clinical residency in the Department of Inflammatory Diseases at the State Institution “Institute of Urology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.” He defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences on the topic: “The Effect of Trichomonas vaginalis on the Incidence of Postoperative Complications of Prostatectomy in Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia.”
